Coming in November

Stuff to Scrap is taking {Inter}National Digi-Scrap day all out and making a month long celebration out of it! We have so much fun stuff planned for November, including a day long party on November 7, Digi-Scrap Day!

Here is just one of the many things we have planned....

A different challenge each day of November! I'm doing the challenge on the 23rd, so I hope you can join me.

What do you think of the calendar? Cute colors? Well - consider it a sneak peek of a FREEBIE collab the designers have put together - they'll be giving it away on the STS blog throughout the entire month! So, mark your calendars. Also Stuff to Scrap is the place to be on November 7 for digi-scrap day and the place to be for the entire month as well!

50% off Sale

Sexy and Hot Mama Scrapper is have a sale at Stuff to Scrap. Click on the flyer to go to her store. She has some great kits. I love her kit Summer's End and I Heart Primary. I don't have either one, but I'm heading to the store to buy them.

Speed Scrap Layout

Here is the layout I did for the speed scrap the other day. I really like the way it turned out. It again is for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary album. I know you will be glad when Christmas gets here and I'm finish with these layouts! This is my nephew and my granddaughter deep in conversation. Not sure what about, but I love their expressions.

In fact, she is hosting her first Speed Scrap tomorrow, (and you all know how much I love speed scraps!) So you all know what I will be doing tomorrow during lunch. Here is the information for the Speed Scrap. Click on the flyer to go to the forum.

And here is the great participation prize. Don't you just love it?

2 Layouts for tonight

Well, today is the first day of the Sketchapoolza class. They started us off with a great sketch that I couldn't wait to get started on. I'm trying to finish up my parent's 50th wedding anniversary album for a Christmas gift, so I can't post most of these on facebook, so I'm posting them here. They don't realize I have a blog so they won't look, so don't tell them!

This is a layout I did of the kids playing with all the balloon we had decorating the room.

We also had a speed scrap tonight on STS that I almost forgot. But my darling hubby reminded me, he must have seen my listing of when we had them! Anyway, it was different than most and I really liked it. Instead of a layout, we did a card. I did a page that I'm going to put in a brag book for my grandmother. It's of our pumpkin carving party we had on Saturday.

Feeling Scrappy Sketchapoolza 5 Class

If you have never taken a Scrapbooking class before, then you need to sign up for one of Feeling Scrappy's Sketch class starting Monday. These classes are fabulous! This is the 5th one they have offered and I've taken all but one and I kick myself everything I think about missing that one! Jayne and here creative team do a wonderful job of giving us an user friendly class forum where we can learn new techniques and get inspired to do more with our layouts.

If you have never taken a class before and want to try one out, then head over to Feeling Scrappy and sign up. This class is great for both the novice and experience scrapbook, and for both traditional and digital.

We get 5 sketches a week (one on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for 4 weeks. We work at our own pace, we share our layouts, we leave love for the others, and they offer prizes throughout the class. They are also giving us a digital template to use to follow the sketch, so it makes doing them digitally so easy! If you are just getting into digital, this is a great way to learn more and get some great layouts done!

Here is my latest layout from a sketch that Jayne gave us to wet our appetite. (Credits are a few post down.)

Hope to see you there on Monday!

Speed Scrap Layout

This is the layout I did for my Speed Scrap tonight. It was my first time hosting one. I found a layout in a gallery, that I liked and decided to use it as inspiration for my layout. I then took it and made 7 steps for the Speed Scrap.

This is my nephew doing his first school play. He was one of the narrators. I'm going to do a few more pages (or at least one more) to show more of what the class did. I enjoyed the play.

The Boy Rules

I was chosen to be on the Creative Team (CT) at Stuff to Scrap. I was so surprised and so excited at the same time. I love the kits all the designers create and enjoy using them all the time. So I will be showcasing them on my blog from time to time.

My first designer is Scrapteam2008. Hannah has some wonderful kits out now, so I had a hard time choosing which one to use. I decided on The Boy Rules, and I'm so glad I did. Here is a preview of the kit and if you click on it, it will take you to the store. I love all the little animals in the kit!

And here are the layouts I did using this kit.

These are pictures of my nephew. I love this picture of him and since I had it three ways, I decided to use all three of them.

These are my other two nephews. I was watching them the other day and kept laughing at Logan. The only way he will get into the rocking chair, is over the arm. He was so funny to watch, that I had to get some pictures.

Don't you just love this kit?
