Waiting for Santa by Scrapteam 2008

My family gives me a hard time because even at 50, I still belived in Santa! I know he his real because he comes to my house every Christmas eve. So when I saw the name of this new kit was Waiting for Santa, I knew I had to have it. Then when I saw the kit, I was so excited. Here is a preview.

I love the colors, they are the red and greens, but not as bright and I love that! I love the gingerbread man, the cute angel, and the poinsettea! This would be a great kit for scrapping all your Christmas layouts! If you click on the preview it will take you to the store, so you can pick up your copy of this wonderful kit!

Forever Romance by Scraps of Ellay

I got my hands on this great kit by Scraps of Ellay, it's called Forever Romance. I love this kit, the colors are perfect for most pages, and the elements in the kit are so cute. It is perfect to use for vintage pages, but can also be used for other pages.

Of course I'm still working on Mom & Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary album, so that is what I used it for.

STS Challenge Day 23

Today was my day to do the daily challenges at Stuff to Scrap, so I gave them all a choice. They could do a layout with a template I did, or scraplife one of my favorites layouts from the gallery, follow a recipe to create a layout, or download a new font that I selected and create a layout using that font.

So anyway, since I offered them a template, I thought I would offer to you all as well. Here is the preview and if you click on it you can download it. If you use it, I would love to see your layout!

Here is one of my layouts using the template. I used Summer's End by SAHM for this layout. The photographs are from Lovelace Photography.

Joy to the World

SAHM Scrapper and Flower Scraps has a collaboration kit out called Joy to the World. It's a great kit and can be used for other layouts besides just Christmas. They both have a mini free on their blog today, but the big kit is in the store. Here is a preview of of SAHM Scrapper's kit, you can click on it and go to her store.

And here are some layouts I did using the kit. The first two are for a double page spread.

Thanks for looking.

Family Tradition

This is a layout I did for a Speed Scrap tonight on Gotta Pixel. We had to do a layout about a tradition in our family. Well we don't really have a lot of traditions except at Christmas. And since I'm trying to finish my parent's 50 Wedding Album for their Christmas gift, I had to think fast. Anyway, the only time we girls dance with Daddy is at wedding/anniversaries, so that was perfect for this. Here is my layout using No Ordinary Girl by Scrap of Ellay.

Here are a couple of layouts I did with this kit. The first one was for an opposites challenge. So I used the difference of North Carolina. We have the beaches and the mountains. I really like the way it turned out. I used a sketch by Jayne Jones.
This one for a scraplift challenge. I love how it turned out. This one will be available later as a quickpage freebie, so keep checking back!

I just finished this one last night for a speed scrap on STS. I might have to make it into a quickpage, but not sure yet. What do you think?

Eternity by Scrap n' Pieces

I just got a new kit called Eternity by Scrap n' Pieces. It's a great kit and I have loved using it. I'm using it for my parent's anniversary party, but it would be great for wedding, parties, or just about anything. Here is the preview, if you click on it you will go to her store.

Here are the layouts I did. I killed two birds with one stone on both of these layouts. They were both for the Sketchapoolza class from Feeling Scrappy, and the the first one was for one of the daily challenges at Stuff to Scrap, they were asking for lots of white space. I'm don't usually do a lot of white space, but I really like the way this one turned out. The sketch is by Tracy Kosofsky.

This layout was not only for the sketch class, but for a Font challenge on Moo Two Designs. The font was used for the journaling, it's called Boomerang. I really like the way it turned out. The sketch was by Stacey Curry.

Productive Weekend

It has been a productive weekend for me as far as scrapping goes. I did 3 layouts yesterday, in between going to the pumpkin patch with Jesse, lunch with hubby and Jesse, dinner at Mom & Dad's, and have both granddaughters over last night. Now to see what today holds!

I wanted to share with you what I did, so here goes. The first two are for speed scraps yesterday, and the third one is a combination of a challenge on STS called All About You and a sketch from my Sketchapoolza class.

Here is a preview of her kit. If you click on the preview it will take to you to her blog where you can pick up this kit for free this week only.

I did a couple of layouts with this kit and had so much fun playing with it. Living in eastern North Carolina, we don't get too much snow, but earlier this year, we actually had some. It was Jesse first time going out and playing in the snow. Here are a couple of layouts I did with this kit for our first snow day in about 5 years!Template from Digi-Scrap Drive-in October Challenge

Check back later and I'll have a quick page freebie of this layout for you.
