Blossom Surprise

There is a new designer at Stuff to Scrap that has some great kits. It's HD Creations and I want to talk about her kit called Blossom Surprise. It has bright fun colors and lots of great elements. I love browns anyway, and this kit has lots of them. Here is a preview, if you click on it you will go to her store.

And here are a few layouts I did using her kit. This one is of a couple of the kids I teach on Wednesday night at church.

And this one is Jesse and the boys at church. It has become a standard saying among the kids that they are church cousins!

Daydreams and Wishes

Scraps of Ellay has some great kits out. I just picked up three of them this month (I'm loving the sales at STS this month!) I did a couple of layout with her kit Daydreams and Wishes. The colors of this kit are so cute. She has faeries, birds, clouds, and lot of flowers. Here is a preview, if you click on it you will go to her store.

Here are a couple of layouts I did with the kit. I did this one for a speed scrap at STS. I haven't ever done a layout with a definition on it, but I think I will be using it more in the future. She had had enough of my taking her picture and was trying to get out of my line of site.

This is one I did for week one of the contest, This Scrapper's Got Talent. We had to do a layout of ourselves and use the words I am. I don't have many pictures of myself, but I was able to complete it anyway.

Here is a quickpage for this kit. Hope you like it. It's linked!

Also SAHM Scrapper has a kit out called Handcarts and Covered Wagons. It's great for a western theme, whether you are visiting a western state, or just have pictures of your kids as cowboy/cowgirls! I really like this kit! Here is a preview it's linked to her store. She is also holding a speed scrap on Monday at noon eastern time and the participation prize is an add on to this kit!

Here is the layout I did for this kit. It was from the Gaylord in Dallas a few years ago.

Well, SAHM Scrapper came up with a great idea of doing small blog trains each month. So, her Creative Team (plus a few other's CT's) are going to have a small blog train out around the 3rd Friday of each month. This is our first one and it's called Firefly Summer. Here is a preview of mine (I just worked on papers this time.) If you click on it, it will take you to the download page.

And here is the link to everyone's blog. Make sure you pick up all of them and leave them some love.

Beautiful You

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that this kit has been on my wish list for a while. Well, I finally picked it up today and have had so much fun playing with it. I love the papers and all the elements. The word art is so pretty. Click on the preview to go to her store.

Here are the two layouts I did this morning. Lovelace Photography had a photo shoot at the Daffodil fields in town. These are some of the pictures she took. These are Xandra, she had so much fun that day.

These are my nephews. This picture just brings out the boys personality. They are so much fun to be around.

Challenges

I completed two challenges on Gotta Pixel last night. One was a speed scrap and the other was a scrap with a list. Here are my layouts.

This one was done for the speed scrap. The theme was "Stop and smell the flowers." The kids had just has pictures done at the daffodil field, so I went looking for those. Brodie is an active child, he doesn't like to be still for long. This day, he didn't want his picture taken, but we still got some cute ones.

Choo-Choo

Well, it's that time again. The Stuff to Scrap blog train, Because I Said So, is leaving the station. I think the title is appropriate for Mother's Days. I know my mom said that to me, and I said it to my daughter, and now she says it to her daughters!

Here is my part. Hope you like it, just click on the preview to download.
