Sizzling Hot

Adriana's Cafe and AmyDane Designs got together for a great collaboration for a Valentines kit. It's called Sizzling Hot and they went with different colors than the normal red and white. I love the results they got. The colors are so rich! I love everything about both kits. Check out the previews, they are linked to the store.


Have you ever created a layout with a picture in mind, and then couldn't find the picture you wanted? Well that is what happened with this layout. I had a picture in mind that I was going to use on this layout when I created it. It was of my husband and I dancing at our wedding. It was a shot taken at our reception by my new brother-in-law of a close up shot. He said it would be the only close up and we would be glad to have it. He was so right! But, when I looked for the CD with the picture on it, I couldn't find it. We have been packing and storing stuff that I couldn't find it any where! So I came across another wedding picture of my nephew and his wife and thought it would work just as well. So here is the layout I did using this kit.

I will lose!

Some of you know that I have been fighting the battle of the budge for most of my life. I have decided this year to get some serious help. I'm planning on having gastric bypass surgery next month. I've been seeing my family doctor for six months and have been dieting trying to get ready for the surgery.

So when Adriana of Adriana's Cafe told us what her new was going to be, I was so excited. Her new kit is "I Will Lose" a weight loss kit. It is perfect for anyone going through this sort of weight loss and lifestyle change and I'm going to use it for my weight loss journal. Here is the preview and it's on sale too! Sneak Peek at a new kit

Adriana's Cafe will have a new kit out on the 10th of this month. I can't wait for you all to see it. She has a story behind the kit on her blog and on her facebook page (if you haven't already Liked it, you may want to!) She is going to have some games between now and the 10th.

The reason I love the kit is because of a journey I'm getting ready to begin, but I'm going to wait until the 10th to share it with you along with my layout.

Ok, there is a lot going on today, so I'll get right to it. First off, is a kit by Charm City Scraps called Tricks and Treats. This was done for Stuff to Scrap's Build A Kit for September. It's a cute kit that I really like. Whether using it for a layout, Halloween invitations, or a night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, this kit is for you. The train, or should I say ship is here. This month we did Ahoy Matey! and I really like the way it turned out. Of course the pirate fans in my area wanted purple and gold for this kit, but....
