Designing Darlings Week 3 - Yummy Days

Well, I've made to it round 3 of the Designing Darlings Competition at Stuff to Scrap. This week, we were giving a picture and the story behind the picture and had to come up with a color palette and a theme. The picture was of peaches, and I noticed the sunshine coming through the leaves. Well, I came up with a color palette of peach, yellow and a few other colors and since peaches are sooooo good, I consider them Yummy! So my kit is called Yummy Days (and yes, I've been singing Glory Days in my head and saying Yummy Days instead!) Endless

Well, it's round two of Designing Darlings at Stuff to Scrap. I learned a lot this week, and most of it was what I was doing wrong. Hopefully my designs will only get better. This week, we couldn't use any CU items, unless we made them ourselves. So I had to go outside my comfort zone but I think it turned out pretty good.

Summer Lovin'

Well, I'm in a contest again. Not sure how it will turn out, but I joined for the learning experience. It's not a layout contest this time, I'm learning to design. I've been doing some blog train designs, but really wanted to learn more so I thought I would join in the Designing Darling Contest at Stuff to Scrap.

We were giving a color scheme and we had to come up with a theme. It reminded me of summer colors, but with February just around the corner, I wanted something about love, thus the title, Summer Lovin'.
