BAK - Here Comes Trouble

Hey all,  I am back on a CT again and I'm working with Kimberly of Leaving a Legacy Design.    I'm starting out slow to get my feet wet, and we will see where it goes from there.  Here is the first kit of hers I've worked with.  It called Here Comes Trouble and with my grandchildren, the name seems to be appropriate!   The kit is part of the Build a Kit at Stuff to Scrap.  Here is a preview of the kit, I love all the colors and the little fishes in it.  The preview is linked to her store.

Kid's Album

My sister and her family are going to move to Kansas!  We all live in North Carolina, and Kansas is soooooo far away.  But you go where God wants you to.  I can't say that I'm excited, and I am a little sad.  Kelly and I do so much together and I see her all the time.  In fact her middle child and my youngest grand child were going to be in the same Kindergarten class next year!  Well the teachers are breathing a sigh of relief, but I'm not so happy.

Anyway, with them leaving, I'm doing an album (I may have a hard bound book made instead) for the kids.  This summer they will playing together almost every day, so I should have lots of pictures.  I have 4 pages done so far.  (Two were done earlier, in the previous two post.)  Here are the other two I have done.  I have until July to get everything done, so wish me luck!

I used Family Fun Night by SAHM Scrapper.  

This one uses All Stars by Growing Pains Scrapped.  The font is Boring Showers and I used a sketch by CM for inspiration.

Challenge Layouts

I am so glad I've gotten back into scrapbooking.  I didn't realize how much I was missing it until I started back.  I've been on Gotta Pixel lately and doing some of their challenges.  Here is what I've done lately.

This is for the What the Flick Challenge.  They had the movie poster from the 3D Titanic movie and we had to do a layout inspired by the poster.  This is mine.  I used Connie Prince's  My Everything.

I did this one for the Sunday Brunch Crunch challenge.  I didn't make the chat on Sunday, but I did grab the template and did this layout.  I used Connie Prince's kit Hearts Blessings, and the template is by Colies Corner.

Speed Scraps

I absolutely love speed scraps.  It's a great way to do a layout quickly and without too much thought.  You are given 7 steps to complete a layout and all you have to do is follow directions.  And I love seeing how everyone interprets the instructions differently.  Anyway I did a couple of them at Gotta Pixel and wanted to share them with you.

This one is from last week.  It's Xandra showing us a new fashion she is trying.  I don't think it will stick, but who know.  I used the kit Sensational You by Connie Prince.

 This one is from tonight's speed scrap.  It's pictures of when I kept my sister's three boys and my two granddaughters.  I used the kit Perfectly Natural by Connie Prince.
