Cherry Chocolate

Well, it's the first day of the new year, what better way to celebrate it then with Chocolate? Well, maybe Cherry Chocolate. lol Tracy at Growing Pains Scrapped is releasing her newest kit today on her blog and it's..... You guessed it, Cherry Chocolate. It has lots of reds, pinks, and browns! Autumn Love

Here is a kit by Digi-Designs by Nicole called Autumn Love. It's a beautiful kit, I love the colors of this kit, but then again, Autumn colors are some of the prettiest colors ever. Fishing Anyone?

I have been wanting to take the girls fishing for a while, but it's hard to find a place around here. Well I found one the other day and I can't wait to take them. I remember my dad taking me out fishing when I was younger and even though I refuse to touch the fish or the bait, I still enjoyed it. Well, Digi-Designs by Nicole has a kit out called Gone Fishing. It's Snow Much Fun by Scrap N' Pieces

Scrap 'n Pieces has a new kit out. It's Snow Much Fun. Winter Wonderland by Scrapteam2008

Wow, Nicole and Hannah really outdid themselves on this kit! It is beautiful! I love all the snowmen, the icy flowers, the ribbons, the lace and the snowy window! Strawberry Fields by Nibbles Skribbles

I am almost out of Christmas pictures from last year, so I'm going back to catching up some of my other pictures. What makes you think more of spring than Strawberry Fields. This is a great kit by Nibbles Skribbles. I love all the paper in this kit, and the alpha is so cute. All kinds of flower, fence and the cutest little caterpillar! Here is a preview of the kit. Here are a couple of layouts I did using this kit. It is a great kit and I can see myself using it again and again. This layout is of a scrapbooking retreat in the mountains. It's planned every year, but this was only the second time I've been able to go.


This layout is of my granddaughter playing in the yard. She is so carefree when she is out there, and rarely sits for long!

Woodland Park Zoo by Misty O'Brien

I used Misty O'Brien's kit called Woodland Park Zoo for some pictures I took of animals. This kit is great for zoo pictures, or for any animals. She has the cutest animals in this kit. A Warm Cup of Cocoa

With winter upon us, a warm cup of cocoa sounds good. Tracy at Growing Pains Scrapped came out with a great kit called A Warm Cup of Cocoa. It's a beautiful kit full of warm chocolate colors! Here are a couple of layouts I did for this kit this week. The first one is of the kids drinking hot cocoa. They both love it. I'm also showing off my new dishes! I used a sketch by Stacey Curry for it.


This one is of a cafe we visited while in the mountains. We found it online so we weren't sure what we were getting into, but the food was very good. It was all organic. It was kind of a preppy place, but very nice.

Template Freebie

Well, tomorrow is my birthday and I'm celebrating by giving you a template to use. I'm turning 51, but I'm not old! My husband and I have planned a quite evening at home and I hope to get some scrapping done, but we will have to see. Anyway, I made this template from a layout I did a few weeks ago. Just Married by Misty O'Brien

I just saw this kit and now I want it. The papers are gorgeous! They are rich in color and I can see this kit being used for lots of things, from my parent's 50th wedding anniversary, my friend's wedding, my granddaughter's fairy princess play! Waiting for Santa by Scrapteam 2008

My family gives me a hard time because even at 50, I still belived in Santa! I know he his real because he comes to my house every Christmas eve. So when I saw the name of this new kit was Waiting for Santa, I knew I had to have it. Then when I saw the kit, I was so excited. Here is a preview.


I love the colors, they are the red and greens, but not as bright and I love that! I love the gingerbread man, the cute angel, and the poinsettea! Forever Romance by Scraps of Ellay

I got my hands on this great kit by Scraps of Ellay, it's called Forever Romance. I love this kit, the colors are perfect for most pages, and the elements in the kit are so cute. It is perfect to use for vintage pages, but can also be used for other pages.


Of course I'm still working on Mom & Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary album, so that is what I used it for.
