Halcyon Days

I didn't know this, but Halcyon means peaceful and that is what you think of when you see this new kit by Growing Pains Scrapped called Halcyon Days. I love the colors of greens, blues and browns. The elements are great. She has flowers, ribbons, string, stitching, tags, and a butterfly. Here is a preview of the kit. And guess what, it's free on her blog for one day only. You will need to keep checking her blog this week, since she will have something different available every day this week. If you click on the preview, it will take you to her blog.

Here is a layout I did with this kit. I love all the papers on this kit. This is a pictures that was taken during our daffodil photo shoot with Lovelace Photography. Jesse just looks so peaceful and angelic in this picture. I'm going to have a quickpage of this layout available later this week for you, so check back later this week for it.

Go Green

Rainamoon Scraps is another new designer at Stuff to Scrap. In honor of Earth Day she designed a kit called "Go Green." I really like this kit. The colors go so well together and I love the corrugated box alpha. She has ribbon, stitches, buttons, and of course the kids are adorable. Here is a preview, if you click on it you will go to her store where you can pick up your own copy.

Here are a couple of layouts I did with this kit. This one is of my nephew. He was just playing among the bushes by a building, but it looked as if he was interested in bush, so I thought about planting a tree.

This one is of my granddaughter sliding. She wanted to copy her sister and go down on her stomach head first, but chickened out at the last minute. But she was excited to slide anyway.

Two New Kits Today

There are two new kits being released today at Stuff to Scrap. They are both collaborations and both are so cute. One is about babies and one about mommies, isn't that perfect since Mother's Day is just around the corner. Digi-Designs by Nicole and Growing Pains Scrapped created Baby of Mine (since they are both expecting a new addition to their families) and Gettin' Scrappy with Britt and SAHM created A Mother's Love.

Baby of Mine has both pinks and blues, you can buy the kit separately or as a bundle and get both the pinks and blues brag book pages. You can even buy the brag book pages separately too. The kit is so cute and has some great elements. It's even on sale this week, so hurry over to pick it up. Click on the preview to go to the store.

Here is the page I did using the kit. It's of my granddaugher after the children's Christmas play at church. She walked up on stage to the manager where Baby Jesus was laying and decided that it was her baby!

I even made a quickpage for you.

Now for A Mother's Love. This kit is so pretty with purples, greens, browns and creams. I really love the color combination. There are lots of ribbons, hearts, and flowers. A great kit to scrap those Mother's day pictures, or really any picture. Click on the preview to go to her store.

Here is a layout I did using this kit. This is my sister with 3 of her grandsons. They all look like they were having a blast!

This Little Missy

This Little Missy is a new designer at Stuff to Scrap. I picked up one of her new kits called Potty Training. Now, although I have a granddaughter that will be starting to potty train soon, I don't have any pictures of potty training. But the colors of this kit worked so well other pictures and the alpha was perfect for some pictures I had
.
Here is the kit, if you click on the image, you will go to her store.

Here are the layouts I did with the kit. Isn't the alpha perfect for this layout?

On the next one, I was inspired by a sketch on Page Maps by Becky Fleck. It's of the girls getting ready for their spring pictures.

Here is the layout I did using the kit. Missy put the girls hairs up in pigtails and then took them outside for pictures. I think they turned out so cute.

Then I made it into a template. Click on it to go to the download site.
