Dear Friend - Template Pack

We have a dear friend and fellow designer that has been diagnosed with leukemia. She has missed a lot of work and so designers from Scraps N Pieces and Stuff to Scrap have come together to put together a fund raising kit to benefit our Dear Friend. She is a great designer and a good friend to all of us. She is having to take a break right now from work and from designing to take care of herself and we hope the funds raised from this template pack will help benefit her in some small way and show our appreciation to her for all she has done to help and support us.

Breakfast Fixin's

I just bought this kit last week (along with about 3 others) and I absolutely love it! My granddaughters love to help fix breakfast, so I thought this kit would be perfect and it was! Template 10 Freebie

Well it didn't take long to get the one more follower (actually I got two more!) I usually make my templates from layouts that I've done, but this time I did something different. I was at a crop this past weekend and I started looking through a new Creative Memories catalog. (Have you seen one lately? They have changed quite a bit.) Anyway, I saw this layout that I loved, but didn't have time to srcaplift it. (I know I didn't get any pages done, so I'm not sure why I didn't have time, but....) So I decided to do a template so I could do the layout later and not have to worry about losing the piece of paper I drew it on! This time, not only do I have the psd file, I also added the pngs and a tiff file. I have learned that some applications do not use psd files, but they can use the rest.

Anyway, here is the template, hope you like it! The image is linked to the download. Oh, and what do you think of the colors for this?

Template Just for Cyn

I have a template freebie for you today because a good friend of mine ask me for it. So I made this up tonight for her. Hope you enjoy it Cyn. Of course anyone else can grab it too.

First here is the layout I did, it was for one of the lessons at DSDI's Scrapbook School. I used the kit Scrap To School which was a collaboration of the designer at DSDI.

I made a template last night and thought I would share. Here is the layout I did, I haven't journaled yet, but.... Anyway, this was a fashion show we had at our ladies retreat in May. The ladies did a fabulous job!

Skyline Freebies

Here is the layout I did using the kit. Missy put the girls hairs up in pigtails and then took them outside for pictures. I think they turned out so cute.

There's a new designer at Stuff to Scrap, Designs by Sweet Mesquite and she has some wonderful templates. I used the All Clustered Up Template Pack. I choose it because I love circles, it doesn't matter if it's the paper or the pictures, I just love the look of circles on a layout. Here is a preview. Don't you just love it. Here are a couple of layouts I did using these templates. On this one, I used the kit It's Snow Fun by Just So Scrappy. I told you I loved circles!

SAHM Scrapper has put some new templates in her store. There are four of them and they all call for 1 picture. I don't know about you, but I love using templates. It's almost like a no brainer when it comes to layouts. I don't have to be in a creative mood, just have my kit and my pictures and wallah, instance page! Check these out, I know you will like them. Here is a layout I did using one of the templates. I also used her new kit Choose the Right, so while you are checking out the templates in her store, stop by to pick up this kit also. Isn't he adorable? One of the other kids would get a cookie and would lay it down before they finished it. This little cookie monster would pick it up and begin eating away at it. I think at least two of the kids lost their cookies to him!

Well, tomorrow is my birthday and I'm celebrating by giving you a template to use. I'm turning 51, but I'm not old! My husband and I have planned a quite evening at home and I hope to get some scrapping done, but we will have to see. Anyway, I made this template from a layout I did a few weeks ago. Here is the layout I did. I used SAHM Scrappers kit Homestead Harvest.

STS Challenge Day 23

Today was my day to do the daily challenges at Stuff to Scrap, so I gave them all a choice. They could do a layout with a template I did, or scraplife one of my favorites layouts from the gallery, follow a recipe to create a layout, or download a new font that I selected and create a layout using that font.

So anyway, since I offered them a template, I thought I would offer to you all as well. Here is the preview and if you click on it you can download it. If you use it, I would love to see your layout!

My First Template

I'm doing a challenge on Stuff to Scrap that has been a great learning experience for me. They have a template challenge every month where you are given a template and you can do your layout from that. Well, this month she had us make our own template. She gave us some of the pieces to use and then we had to add our own. Here is what I came up with mine. I guess it's almost like my first sketch too.


Here is the layout I did using the template. It is of my nephew Logan. The digital kit is by Amy Sumrall called Childrens Day.

Template with Tumblebus

I completed my first template challenge yesterday. It took me a while to figure out how to do it, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. The challenge was on Stuff to Scrap blog I'm still trying to figure out how to post it on that site, but I'll get there.


Anyway, I used Big Bounce Fun Zone kit by Tracy's Design. The layout is of Jesse on her last day of Tumblebus. She went every Thursday during the school year, and loved it. This was my first time going and watching her. They we having Surfer Day. They were doing all kinds of tumbling stunts with a surfing beach theme. Anyway here is the LO:
