I want you to know that my sister just moved to Kansas, and they have a train track in their backyard. Every time I heard the whistle blow, I grabbed my camera and ran for the back door. Never did see a train! After I got back home, my brother-in-law sent me a picture of the train going by behind his house! I was a day late and a dollar short! lol.
